There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
And a little bit about me...
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I specialize in working with adult individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, attachment trauma, and/or challenges within adoption. I utilize a mind-body therapeutic approach that draws largely from the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. I am drawn towards understanding how our environment, family, culture, and life experience have influenced the ways in which we relate to ourselves and others. I believe that we can naturally have multiple feelings at once, all valid, and each holding valuable information.
As a Korean American transracial adoptee, I offer a unique lens to my therapeutic work, adoption advocacy, and public discussions surrounding racial and social justice. I care deeply about diversity, equity, and inclusion in all spaces, and I am perpetually moved and in awe of our capacity to heal and grow. I firmly believe in the healing work that can happen within a therapeutic relationship as well as its ability to ultimately inspire the collective whole.
I offer individual therapy sessions, educational trainings, and my professional perspective and experience in interviews, podcasts, and public panels, discussions, or forums.
